TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a UK passport for your son in Thailand, you will need to contact the British embassy in Bangkok to clarify the required documents and procedures. Make sure you have evidence of your child's British citizenship, such as a birth certificate and possibly proof of registration at the embassy. For your wife’s spouse visa, ensure you meet the financial requirements and prepare the necessary paperwork. You might also consider seeking the help of a regulated visa agent or lawyer experienced in UK immigration matters.

Contact the embassy, they have to give you a new passport together with a document to transfer the visa, then you have to go to the immigration to transfer it. If you don't do this and try to go out from the country, your son will face big problems.

Never use Facebook for these kind of things, always contact your embassy.

If you have a copy of your child's birth certificate, get it translated and signed and stamped, and apply for a uk passport, then in Thailand apply for thai passport, my 2 daughter's are classed as duel nationality, no visa needed, for your child. Then start the long lenthy process of visa for your wife, good luck

We can assist with UK Visa applications which are fully regulated by the solicitors regulatory authority back in the UK we are if not the only one of the Visa agents in Thailand that are fully SRA regulated. We have a 100% track record for visitor Visas over the past four years.

Our dedicated Immigration Director has 17 years experience and I am the firms client affairs manager here in Thailand. I am a practising British and international lawyer backed up by in-house Thai lawyers, barristers and accountant and consultants if we can assist it anyway please let us know. I hope this helps 1 and all

If you and your father are British he is a British citizen the process is simple you supply dna proof he is your son and then they will issue a British passport for him as for your wife you will need to meet the financial requirements for a spouse visa as long as you do the above and your partner has no criminal background the process is straight forward a lawyer can do it for you in the uk cost approximately £1000-1500

imo,the best approach is contact the embassy in bangkok by email, outline your requirements, theyll respond and let you know the procedure.

In my case i first had to arrange citizenship by decent, for child,in fathers nationality,

Then application for passport follows.

You're in UK but what nationality are you? Where was he born? Was he registered as a birth abroad?

you registered your child at the embassy? So I think he's got the birth abroad proof you need.

You need to specify what type of passport your son could get. It’s impossible to guess the procedure without knowing that.

The same with your wife. What nationality?

How old is your son ?

He or you on his behalf if he is a minor (unsure on question) need to contact British embassy in Bangkok
