Hi I wanted some advise.
My daughter has a new passport which was recently issued in Australia.
I need to transfer her NON-IMM 1 year Multiple entry visa into her new passport. I just went to the Australian embassy to get the stamp in her old passport saying this passport has been cancelled and it's been replaced by the new one. Any valid visas remain valid.
My question is can I go to immigration to transfer the visa and transfer the multiple re-entey permit my self or does she have to go as well?
If so do I need to provide my passport, her or my birth certificate? Anything else?
I really don't want to miss another day of school again. As I know she will need to be at immigration when we both renew our NON-IMM visas which expires soon.
The school advised to do the process in two separate days. As I will need to do this in 3 separate steps at 3 different counters. Long day and long queues I'm assuming.
1. Transfer the visa into the new passport
2. Apply or transfer the multiple re-entry permit
Than
3. Renew the NON-IMM visa (which expires in a couple weeks)
Thank you

They have already received a stamp from the Australian embassy indicating that the old passport is cancelled. The user is unsure if they need to take their daughter to immigration to complete the transfer and what documents are necessary for the process.
