I went to the search bar before asking this question and I understand the requirements for the DTV visa as it relates to a single self-employed person. However, I've not come across any posts as it relates to children. Has anyone had any experience with it as of yet? In regards to financial proof requirements, custody, etc.

I have a question relating specifically to Phuket Immigration that I'm hoping someone can help me with. I'm trying to find out how long the seasoning time is for the 400,000 Baht I in my Thai bank account to extend my Non-Imm O visa based on having a Thai child (I'm the mother with sole custody and from the UK). Most immigration offices seem to ask for it to be in your bank for 60 days but I read on the Phuket Immigration Volunteers website that it only needs to be in the bank for one week. I just want to find out if that's correct. Really hoping it is as it gives me more time to sort it! I also understand that the police order doesn't mention a seasoning time for this type of visa but I'd rather not argue with immigration if I can help it!

many lawyers say go and apply for 90 day no O visa then get another visa when i return. i have all legal papers re my son everything. hes thai will be with a nanny. all bills paid by movie. will they give me the Non O in Seoul? im afraid to be kept out and my 12 year old alone. he has thai passport. never lived with mom. will the embassy find thst a good reason to come back? no other family but me.

What is the requirement at jomtien to extend the 1 year non o based on dependency for kids?Also myself and my ex gf are separated but she is willing to help me with paperwork as she has full custody of the kids. Do we have to declare we are still living together?
