TLDR : Answer Summary
The user holds a one-year multiple entry retirement visa and seeks to return to Thailand, where his 12-year-old son is currently cared for by a nanny. He has sole legal custody of his son, confirmed by a Thai court. Other comments suggest that while he should be able to use his retirement visa for entry, he must also apply for a Certificate of Entry (COE) and contact the Thai consulate in Seoul for guidance on the re-entry process, including any COVID-19 related protocols.

Should be no reason why not. You still need to apply for the COE. I read your situation in previous post maybe a visit to explain and get a contact from someone there.

Where did you get the new one year multi-entry "retirement" visa?
As far as requesting permission to re-enter thailand, you would apply to return based on having a half thai child
BUT
you should be able to use the currently valid retirement visa as the visa you enter with
you need to contact the thai consulate in Seoul to start the request to re-enter process, get the quarantine booked, repatriation flight, covid insurance etc.
