Hi everyone, quick question for those who have applied for the Thailand DTV from Sri Lanka (or nearby embassies) recently.

I’m a U.S. passport holder planning to apply for the DTV (non–Soft Power) from Sri Lanka. My application is based on financial self-support and foreign-sourced remote income, not training or employment in Thailand.

I’ll be submitting:

* Bank statements showing I met the 500,000 THB equivalent requirement (USD)

* A short remote work declaration stating I don’t work for Thai entities

* Standard passport, photo, and proof of location documents

I’ve noticed some people mention uploading client contracts, invoices, business registration, or portfolios, while others didn’t.

My questions:

1. For those who applied from Sri Lanka, were bank statements + a remote work declaration sufficient?

2. Did anyone upload business documents, sales pages, invoices, or portfolios *without being asked*, and did it help?

3. If you were asked for additional info, what exactly did the embassy request?

4. How long was processing time from submission to decision?

Any recent firsthand experiences would be really appreciated. Thanks so much.
