ORIGINAL POSTERI was born in Thailand, moved to the UK when I was 4. I've been trying to get my Thai ID card for a while so I can permanently move back to Thailand and the short of this long journey, is they are requesting a DNA test and photo evidence of me and my mother- I am flying my Mum out to Thailand from UK to do all of this. However I just found I did get issued a Thai passport once as a kid- which my step dad just found but totally forgot about. It expired in 2002.
Does this make a difference? Should I be able to get a Thai passport and Thai ID without all the extra time and expense of the DNA test and endless trips back to Thailand to get this sorted?
