What embassy do you recommend in this situation:

- Family of 4, Dutch nationality, already in Thailand for almost 6 months. We want to apply for DTV in the next few weeks. Somewhere in Asia, doesn’t really matter where…but we think chances are better in a embassy, not with e-visa.

- Long term rental contract available until 15th January (extendable).

- We are both business owners (not freelance) and can work fully remote. We have invoices, client contracts, notary approved documents of the founding of our companies (both 50/50 owners). We can provide any document with company stamp, etc.

Also company balances available with over €100k in reserves.

- Only thing is: we do not have bank statements with 500.000 Baht for longer than 1 month. Both parents have the 500.000 Baht in their private accounts, but it is there for around 3-6 weeks. We keep our reserves not on our checking accounts but invest or keep in our companies. I know they do not approve crypto, but we can also provide a substantial amount in crypto portfolios.

We can provide bank statements for 6 months showing what we paid for during our travels in Thailand. We spend about €5000-€6000 a month on rent, shopping, hotels, groceries in Thailand.

We are thinking about going to Taipei because the processing seems quick. Would you recommend both parents apply for the DTV at once? Or one parent gets the DTV and other parent and kids apply later as dependents?

Thanks for tips and suggestions!
