I’m hoping to get some advice from anyone who’s been through this recently.

I’m currently in Thailand on a tourist visa. I was originally on a 12 month student visa that ended in April and since then I’ve had to do a few land border runs while waiting for my business setup and work permit to come through.

Next week I’m heading to Malaysia to apply for and re-enter on a Non-B visa, with my work permit in progress. My only concern is that immigration might look at my passport stamps and notice I’ve had more than two entries this year.

Even though I’ll have the correct visa when I return, I’m still a bit worried about re-entering. Has anyone had a similar experience recently with the new rules? Any advice or insight would be hugely appreciated.
