A quick question & Thanks in advance.

I've just completed 55 days of my 60 day visa allocation in Thailand, then flew out to Cambodia.

What would you suggest the minimum volume of days out of Thailand, before I fly back in via Bangkok airport, to hopefully get another 60 days?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on the minimum number of days they should stay outside Thailand to successfully re-enter and obtain another 60-day visa. The community offers varied opinions on the need for specific days out of Thailand, citing experiences with immigration officers and recent trends in entry rejections. Some suggest having relevant documentation ready upon re-entry, while others caution about potential scrutiny from immigration officials.

Their numbers are down so bad that I doubt their on a position to say know. PM says it's a crisis now on how low the numbers are. But Thailand loves to shoot themselves in the foot

The fact you didn't take the 30 day extension will possibly work in your favour as you did not max out your first stay then try to re-enter soon after to repeat. Have the 3 proofs just in case you are questioned :

- proof of accommodation for at least your first few nights (hotel booking or a letter of invite from a Thai)

- proof of onward travel (international travel ticket leaving Thailand within your initial entry stamp exit by date)

- proof of funds (20,000 Baht or equivalent in any major currency in CASH per individual, or 40,000 for a family)

Make Sure you have another outbound Ticket when you reenter Thailand

Since there is zero limitations on entrances either via air or land…I say book a sane day flight, go early morning get lunch in Cambodia then schedule dinner in Thailand

just hearsay but I heard they only allow 2 land entries per year

Recently, a foreign friend of mine was informed of this Thai immigration at the mukdahan Thai/Laos boarder crossing.

technically indeed, in practice it's much more complex / nuanced and is being discussed, reported and proved on this group almost every day. You're only focused / blinded on one thing and you thus keep contributing with useless comments despite people already telling you that your argument is laughable.

@Did ****
then show me in writing where it says limitations on arrivals either via air or land…

@Did ****
what…did they put limits on entrances in the past 72 hours?

land or flight makes no difference

You don’t need any number of days. Come back whenever you wish. But may as well enjoy Cambodia for at least a few days!

@John ******
you could try now. Hopefully the IO will let you back in

Key word "hopefully". So many stories recently of people being denied entry in this scenario. Immigration is cracking down on 'tourists' who are spending too much time. Probably best to get a visa or use a fast track service.
