So what you are saying, everyone is expected to have cash ($22,000 for me) just sitting in a bank accout earning no interest. Investment accounts don't count for financial reserves, emergencies which is normal practice in every Country I've visited. So everyone maintains 500,000 THB in a bank account? That was my original query

Anonymous participant 385 thank you. It's costly to pull $ out of investments continuously. And banks pay 0.55% in savings account. Unfortunately investments do not qualify 🤷‍♀️
