What happens to my passport stamps when I return to Thailand with a re-entry permit?
Just wondering as I've not done before. When I return to Thailand with a re entry permit, obviously that will be stamped as used. Do they put any other stamp in my passport or do I just revert to my original extension stamp. Hope that makes sense.
Answer summary
When returning to Thailand with a re-entry permit, you will receive a new entry stamp that includes today's date as the entry date, while retaining the original end date from your previous visa extension.

I show the IO my reentry permit and after getting my passport back, I proceed past the counter. I then check the new entry stamp to confirm it has the correct end date before I leave the immigration areaSteve *******

thanks. It's only a single. Coming back to the UK once is enough for me.

I might add, this new entry stamp is your new start date for your next 90 day report.
