TLDR : Answer Summary
When you return to Thailand on a Non O visa after exiting, the 90-day reporting period resets based on your new entry date. This means you should disregard the previous reporting date and treat the day you re-enter Thailand as day one of a new 90-day cycle.

Bin the report in your passport and ignore any email reminder of your next 90 days from your OLD report date and start your NEW 90 days with your new entry date as day 1.

Remember, you are reporting 90 consequitive days IN Thailand, so if you leave and return, the 90 day clock re-starts.

When you exit the country the 90 day reporting count down stops.

When you come back, your NEXT 90 day report is due 89 days from the date you stamped in to thailand

Isn't it 90 days starting from the date of arrival?

the day you stamp in to thailand is counted as day one no matter what time it is, so your 90 day report due date is 89 days from the date you stamp in πŸ™‚

The count starts on the day of entry and the report is due on the 90th day. So Tod is correct.
