Hello. Has anyone been approved a Thai Soft Power DTV Visa? In case so, what kind of proof of confirmation to attend the activity (muay thai, massage course etc) have you sent? Do you need to send a one year confirmation? Can be shorter? I understund you have to pay on advance to the gim or school to have the letter... Is it ok with a 1 week sor 15 days course letter? If anyone has done it already i would love to know how it works... Thank you so much!

Answer summary

The discussion revolves around the Thai Soft Power DTV Visa, with inquiries on the required documentation and duration of the courses for approval. Users seek clarity on whether a short-term course (1 week to 15 days) is sufficient for the visa application, or if a longer commitment (e.g., a year) is mandatory. Additionally, comments suggest recent changes in the political landscape might tighten visa requirements.

Hurry! Hurry! Hurry! The prime minister who created this visa class got fired yesterday, I would not be surprised if they made the requirements much stricter to the point, they cancel it. This visa class is badly thought out.

The Muay Thai program I've inquired replied me that you have to join at least the first six-month course (to cover the first 180 days).
