Hello, is the soft power option limited to Muay Thai or can I do it with Freediving training, let’s say 1 month training. I plan to come training regularly at good season but not always at the same location due to weather conditions.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion clarifies that the soft power visa option in Thailand can apply to various sports training, not just Muay Thai. However, the acceptance of freediving training under this category may vary by embassy, so it's important to confirm with the specific embassy where the application will be made. Additionally, if the training is more tourist-oriented, a visa-exempt option may also be considered.

When you have one month training and come back regularly at other locations, this sounds to me as tourist use, so why not use visa exempt?

Medical treatment is one of the soft power options.

'soft power' relates to things that are uniquely Thai in their nature... Thai cooking and Muay Thai, for example.

The soft power option covers sports training. You will need to contact the embassy you will apply from if they approve freediving. Each embassy differs in their approval.
