TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses experiences of applying for a Thai visa in Jakarta, with an emphasis on whether interviews were required. One participant mentioned applying under the soft power category without an interview or additional documents, while another shared having a quick response time and needing to provide additional information, but also without an interview.
I don’t think they call in anymore, everything is done online. But you also have to put in the address of your accommodation, so they’ll see your in Bali.
Mine took about 2 weeks, for my kids the pending documents is already week 😣
We were supposed to fly back to Thailand this Saturday, but I will reschedule for a week later

Anonymous participant 273 when did you apply for your kids? I applied for mine 18th, it is only a few days but so hard to be in limbo 😅. I will still have to apply for my son as dependent as well. Thought dependents would be much faster! How long did it take urs to go from pending document check to pending approval?
