What are the requirements for attending soft power activities in Thailand, and do singular events qualify?

Can a credible source elaborate on soft power activities and how frequently they must be attended?

I've read Muay Thai, Cooking, Medical, Seminars, Arts and Music Festivals. Does one festival ticket count as a qualifying event? Does one doctor or dental appointment count? One seminar?

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirements for soft power activities in Thailand depend on the specific consulate or embassy. Attending a single cultural event such as a music festival, seminar, or even a doctor or dental appointment may not be sufficient. Generally, authorities prefer a series of events, such as regular courses or long-term treatments that involve multiple visits, to count as qualifying activities.

So what about the music festivals?

It is dependant on each consulate...

Is someone organizing the details by consulate?

That would be a helpful resource for this group.

The workcation people will apply from their respective countries but I suspect there are a lot of people already in Thailand who would visit Laos, Vietnam, or Malaysia to apply for a DTV.

It has to be a series of events such as monthly/weekly courses or a long term treatment involving multiple visits to the dentist or clinic. There have been many confirmed Muay Thai DTV’s but of course those are not cheap either.

are you able to direct me to a confirmed Muay Thai visa, and what they signed up for exactly?

@Roberto ******
unfortunately no because I applied with my work background but I saw a few posts in the comments from a school in Phuket or Samui wherever it was. Are you actually interested in taking the class?

I’ve seen in Chiang Mai they have 6 months class for 15,000฿ + normal fee.

yeah that sounds about right. I guess it’s ok if you’re actually interested in taking the courses. Otherwise it’s a lot of money to throw against the wall to see what works.
