DTV soft power question. Does anyone have experience or has been approved on the DTV through a language school? Ive seen alot of approvals from muay thai schools. Again Thai embassies have contradicting feedback. Your feedback would be much appreciated.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the DTV (Digital Nomad) visa and whether it can be obtained through a language school. Participants noted that while soft power options include muay thai and cooking schools, language school does not qualify under the soft power category for the DTV visa. There’s a distinction made between intaking an education visa (ED) for language study and the DTV visa depending on one's long-term goals in Thailand.
Are you looking to study language and end up being able to stay in Thailand because of it, or stay long term in Thailand doing an activity through DTV? Depending on your goal, one path is ED, one path is DTV.
