Hi all. Please can ANYONE advise me if I can get a "Dependent Visa" in current situation?....

- 52 years old. Danish Passport

- Currently on tourist visa. Will do Covid-extension tomorrow which should give me 2 months extra time.

- Seperated from my Thai-wife (still officially married and good friends). She has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and the situation is very bad. (might have 6-18 months left)

- We have an 8 year old son. He lives with me, goes to international school and is 100% dependent on me.

- I am able to put 500.000 THB in my Thai Bank Account, but would like to avoid putting 800.000 THB in the bank, as I also need money to help the mother of my son with her medical bills and treatment.

Based on the above. Am I able to apply for a Dependent Visa? I have asked the Visa Adviser at my sons school. She does not know! Last time I went to the immigration I could also not get a clear answer. Would appreciate any helpfull feedback. Thanks.

Anyone here taking care of their Thai-child, still offically married, but on a Dependent visa? (Not marriage visa).
