Recently posted in a teachers forum, third party info. However, I recently attempted to get my criminal record check certified at the U.K. Embassy in Bangkok last month - they point blank refused and said that it needs to be done by a third party in the UK. This wouldn’t be enough for the MFA to certify it anyway, so if this is true it’s an impossible requirement to meet (at least with a UK document anyway).

Just a quick update !

My UK Passport was full.

I applied for a New Passport in Bangkok and was told it would be about 4 weeks.

I collected my New Passport Today.

It took only 14 Days.
