Hi, apologies for being a bit of a donut. Looking at UK Thai Embassy website it says Foreign national has to submit E visa application through online platform. If i'm coming for 2 week holiday (15 days) can I ignore this and come in visa exempt and sort the paperwork and fee out at Bangkok airport. Visa on arrival page hasn't been updated since July 2020 but I've not been to Thailand before so looking for clarification. Thanks

I'm a UK citizen and came to Thailand Nov 2017. Back in UK at moment. History:

* Ed visa (martial arts) 1 year

* Tourist visa (60 day + extension)

* Visa exempt (30 day + extension)

* Home

My long-term plan is to get a Thai Elite visa, but I would like to come back to Thailand this year (Oct). I know that's a few months away but would appreciate any advice.

Based on the above, my questions:

1. Would a Thai language visa be ok or is this a big no-no considering I've already had an ed visa? I don't want to waste money paying a school only to be denied at a consulate.

1. Could I apply for a particular visa in my country to better secure my entry before I leave?
