Hi, apologies for being a bit of a donut. Looking at UK Thai Embassy website it says Foreign national has to submit E visa application through online platform. If i'm coming for 2 week holiday (15 days) can I ignore this and come in visa exempt and sort the paperwork and fee out at Bangkok airport. Visa on arrival page hasn't been updated since July 2020 but I've not been to Thailand before so looking for clarification. Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
As a UK citizen traveling to Thailand for a 15-day holiday, you can enter visa-exempt and receive a 30-day stamp upon arrival. However, you cannot sort out the paperwork at the airport as you need to apply for the Thailand Pass prior to your arrival. Necessary documentation includes proof of vaccination, hotel booking, and a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours before departure.

As a UK citizen you can come in visa exempt and get stamped in for 30 days, there's no fee for this. You still need to apply for the Thailand Pass before leaving the UK.

Visa exempt works as it always did no fee involved. Its now Thailand Pass. Passport. Vax certificate for 2 jabs. Hotel booking for 1night quarantine which includes tests an airport pick up

Negative PCR test 72 hrs before departure. Nothing like the good old days!

No you can't just arrive anymore and sort it out at the airport. Go to the Thailand Pass website and apply for visa exempt. There's a few things you need to upload but if you have everything in order then the approval happens pretty fast. There are tutorial videos on YouTube now that walk you through step by step.

Visa exempt go straight to TPASS

Visa Exempt, a UK passport stamps you 30 days on arrival. Not to be confused with Visa On Arrival. It's free, no visa to pay for.
