ORIGINAL POSTERI submitted my 90-day notification (TM47) online today for the first time. I noticed that on the PDF form generated at the end, there’s no tick/checkmark next to “VISA” / “TOURIST”.
In the online form, there’s a ‘VISA’ checkbox in the address section. I’m not sure it actually refers to visa type, since it’s placed within the address details and comes with business-related notes. Even when I tick it, there’s no way to choose a visa type like ‘TOURIST’.
Could it be that the VISA information isn’t required because Immigration can look up my current visa status in their system using my passport number?
