I submitted my 90-day notification (TM47) online today for the first time. I noticed that on the PDF form generated at the end, there’s no tick/checkmark next to “VISA” / “TOURIST”.
In the online form, there’s a ‘VISA’ checkbox in the address section. I’m not sure it actually refers to visa type, since it’s placed within the address details and comes with business-related notes. Even when I tick it, there’s no way to choose a visa type like ‘TOURIST’.
Could it be that the VISA information isn’t required because Immigration can look up my current visa status in their system using my passport number?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user submitted their 90-day notification (TM47) online and noticed that the 'VISA' checkbox related to their status was not marked, raising questions about whether the visa type is necessary for submission. Comments from other community members indicated that this is a common experience and not typically a concern, suggesting that Immigration can verify visa status using the passport number.

Nothing to worry about. I’m not on a DTV and I get the same. The most important thing is that you receive a final approval (not just a confirmation that you submitted the TM47). Usually, you can’t do this online as a first after each entry. Keep us updated.
