Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone here can offer some insight.

I applied for my DTV on 2 January while I was in Japan, but I haven’t yet received a decision.

I returned to Thailand on 15 January on a 60-day tourist visa.

My question is: can the DTV still be approved while I’m physically in Thailand, or does approval require me to be outside the country?

For context, I’ll be travelling back to the UK in March for a few weeks, so I’m trying to plan accordingly.
