Can I exit Thailand and re-enter to reset my DTV digital nomad visa extension 180-day period?

Hello, I have a question regarding DTV digital nomad visa extension.

Instead of going to the immigration office and losing a lot of time, can I just leave the country and enter again? 🤔 Does that „reset” my 180 day? Or would I need to show all the documents (required for visa extension) anyway when I cross the boarder next time? 🤔

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can reset your DTV visa's 180-day period by leaving Thailand and re-entering. Upon each entry, you will receive a new 180-day stamp, as confirmed by other expats. However, it is advisable to have your DTV documentation printed out and ready to present to immigration officers when you return.

You don't need to wait 180 days to reset it. I go in and out once every 2-3 months. Always 180 fresh days granted upon EACH entry.

This is infact the best way, and what most immigration offices recommend you to do. Just leave and return. Every single time you enter Thailand during the validity of your visa, you will get a new 180-day entry stamp. Make sure you have your DTV printed out and give it to the immigration officer along with your passport.
