Dear All, my husband and I are out of Thailand now, we are waiting for documents from Thailand to apply first time for a working visa. Now, we are not familiar with the whole process therefore we will be greatful if you could explain the whole process to us:

1. My husband will apply for a non immigrant B visa, correct? I will accompany him on a spouse visa, non immigrant O, right? Apart from docs from Thailand, what else is required, generally, by Thai Consulates, like: marriage certificate or non-criminal record, some more? I am asking because Thai Consulate here posted an info that they can ask for any documents. So what is a general procedure?

2. After we get our visas and travel to Thailand, what are next steps for my husband to get working permit and/or working visa? We are not familiar with the whole process, could anybody explain to us, step by step? I read that we have to leave Thailand after the initial 90 days visa. Why, what for? Thank you so much. I know I am asking for a lot but there is some terms (ie extention of stay, what do one need it for? Where do one apply for it and when?) that we have no idea they exist in applying for a job and its related visa in Thailand. I believe all will be explained to us in Thailand, sort of😊 but we'd prefer to know the process from foreigners already familiar with it before we land in Thailand. I am from EU country, my husband from Russia but with a permanent stay card in EU (incl allowed to work here). We will apply for a visa in EU.

Thank you all in advance for your help.
