Sitting in the office right now, came for a residence certificate x 2 for car purchase and D/L. Was asked for 300 baht each. I respectfully said that the website advises this is a free service. The boss of immigration confirmed it recently in a newspaper article. Had my Thai landlord with me so called him over. The two women then told me not to worry and to return to the waiting room. Will update whether I get the certificates without a problem
