I have a question regarding ed visa that needs clarification.

From what I have read so far, ed visa can allowed you to stay up to one full year starting from the date of entry, as long as one follows the rule of the ed visa requirements. However I came across a language school that offers a 15 months program and claims that it is doable. Could anyone tell me how it is done? Thanks in advance!
