Can I self-file a TM30 for my Non-O visa application if the property owner is unresponsive?

Have an appointment on Tuesday 20/9/22 for my 90 day Non-O based on retirement and based on your advice I went to CW beforehand and obtained a current handout of requirements (FYI - hasnt changed, see attached).

Having scuttled around desperately I can meet all the requirements except the TM30 from the owner who is being tardy (I won't judge why) with vague comments about some documentation not being available yet.

Having poked around Section 38 of the immigration website, I notice I can register myself but my question is can I (or the owner's representative) file the TM30 or is it just the owner that can do that?

I have a TM30 from my original AirBnb stay but obviously that doesn't relate to my new rental contract, and alternatively the owner's representative has offered to accompany me on Tuesday to explain why the TM30 can't be filed. But I'm concerned the authorities won't accept anything except a TM30 on my new current address and knock me back...

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has a 90-day Non-O visa appointment but is unable to obtain the TM30 form from their property owner, who is being slow to provide the necessary documentation. They are inquiring if they can self-file the TM30 or if only the property owner can do so. Responses suggest that self-filing is possible and advise doing so before the visa appointment, despite potential fines for late filing. It's stressed that having the TM30 receipt is essential for the visa application.

Just go on Tuesday to section B and self file a TM30 on your own before your appointment for the Non-O application.

Then go copy the receipt downstairs and have it in the documentation when you go to apply for the 90 day Non-O in section C-1

Good luck with it, report back after you apply for the 90 day Non-O visa

You will apply for the Non-O visa, pay the 2000baht, and get a blue/green receipt that says for you to come back in 2 weeks to get the "results" <- on that day don't even stop at the queue ticket counter just walk over to section C-1 showing them your passport and that receipt.

They'll take it and stamp in the Non-O visa and a new 90 day stamp. ๐Ÿ™‚

How about you read this old post I made back in 2019 about "Self-Filing" a TM30 on your own with NOTHING but your lease and passport.

They might charge you 800 baht fine in section B for failure to file a TM30 on time (which is half the actual max the fine can be) BUT you'd get it filed

Follow the instructions EXACTLY as I noted when filling out the TM30 form. Your land lords name etc does NOT appear anywhere on the forms at all

Todd, is it not possible for the OP to arrange the TM30 filing by himself using the new Section 38 phone app?

@John ****
doubtful, but he could try

Seeing as he's going there I thought he might as well file in person and get the paper receipt

I believe you will not get to apply for a 90 day Non-O visa in section C-1 without that TM30 receipt ๐Ÿ˜• AND I also think that no excuse on why it can't be done will cut any ice with them no matter who tells them
