Hello

just now prepare all my papers for my visa to go to thailand. It will be non-o (marriage)

My question,

after 90 days, is it possible to extend it again for 90 days or if I dont get 90 days, may I extend it for 30 days 3 times?

Thanks a lot for your help🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
After entering Thailand on a non-O visa based on marriage, you have a couple of options for extending your stay. You can apply for a 60-day extension based on visiting Thai family, which is available once per entry and does not have strict financial requirements. Alternatively, you can apply for a one-year extension of stay based on marriage, which does require proof of finances either through a bank balance of 400,000 THB or a monthly income of 40,000 THB. The eligibility for extensions may vary depending on the immigration office, so it’s advisable to verify the specifics with your local office.

Came back myself a few months ago on a non o.( marriage)

I had to apply in Uk as my visa would have expired whilst still in quarantine .

Uk gave me a 90 day visa . Just before that ran out I applied for my usual year at Chaeng Wattana and that went through without any issues .just collected it on Monday .

You can get a 60 day visit thai family extension ONCE.

Some offices allow it once per ENTRY <- meaning you can get it every time you enter the country but other offices allow it only Once per VISA <- meaning you can get it once on any visa and then until you get a new visa you can't get it again

It has nothing to do with money or anything.

if you're coming into the country on a 90 day Non-O, you will be able to get the 60 day visit thai family extension once and then you're gonna hafta apply for a year extension based by meeting the financial requirements

I'm letting this post on because it's an extension of stay question, not a stranded outside question.

On a non-o visa based on marriage, you have two options to extend:

1. A 60 day extension of stay based on visiting Thai family. This gives you another 60 days, and does not require the 400K THB in banked money or 40K THB in income.

2. A one year extension of stay based on marriage to a Thai wife. This does require the 400K THB in savings or 40K a month in income

The details on how to apply can be acquired from your local immigration office.

for the multiple entry Non-o visa based on marriage, some immigration offices allow you to get a 60 day extension of stay ONCE PER VISA, and others allow it ONCE PER ENTRY.
