Hello, newbie here...I would really appreciate some guidance. I hope to stay in Thailand 90 consecutive days at a time. I qualify for O visa, but I can't live in Thailand full time. My question is, can I apply for O visa everytime I come to Thailand, which gives me 90 days, then not extend it for the full year, and repeat the same process the following year? I am an American but not retired yet. Thanks in advance for sharing your wisdom and sage advice. Lu
TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster, an American expat, inquired about the possibility of applying for a Non-O visa to stay in Thailand for 90 consecutive days, without residing full-time in the country. The responses indicated that it is feasible to apply for a single entry Non-O visa each year, allowing for 90 days of stay. However, there were considerations regarding the specific reasons for qualifying for the Non-O visa and the related documentation. Some commenters suggested alternatives, such as obtaining a 60-day tourist visa with a possible extension for an additional 30 days.
