TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, the NON-O visa which initially allows a stay of 90 days can be extended for an additional 60 days. However, it's essential to apply for the extension before the 90 days expire. There are also options for further extension based on specific situations, such as being married to a Thai national or having a child who is a Thai citizen, which may allow for a one-year extension under certain financial conditions.

You can also follow the steps to get a 1 year extension, based on dependent, but you have to get bt400k in your personal Thai bank account right away, I mean in the next two days. The rest of the documents you have plenty of time to get, but the financial requirement involves bt400k in your bank account for at least two months, or bt40k a month coming in from overseas, and not ATM withdrawals, but deposits directly into your bank account from overseas. Because of this, in your case the bt400,000 in the bank is the easiest, as long as you have the money, and it doesn't matter where it came from, just so it is in your account, in your name only. Immigration has a list of the other documents needed, so if you want to do this, then as soon as you get your money in your bank account, go to immigration, and start your one year extension process. Ohh, I forgot, the dependent, if a child, must be under 18 years old.
, it has to come from overseas directly into your Thai bank account. It can not come in from another source, and then you deposit it. It must come directly into your bank account from overseas, with no other name on the account.
, the account must be in your name only, and they do not care what the name on the foreign account the money is coming in from each month into your account is. The most common that people use is having your pension sent directly to your Thai bank account, each month, or in some cases using a monthly SWIFT international transfer, and again directly into your Thai account. It can not be a joint account, in both you and your wife's name. Some immigration officers have allowed this, but only if double the required amount comes in each month, but not every immigration allows this. Also, it can not be bt30k one month, and bt50k the next, like it used to be. It must be bt40k+ every month.
100% correct ...2 months minimum 400k OR 40k pm for 12 months from overseas into your thai bank ....of course once you have obtained your visa , you can spend that 40k monthly on whatever ....I am not sure after the visa is granted what requirements there are with keeping the 400k in the bank ,if you elected that method ...
you must make the 12 x 40k payments , then you can apply for your 12month marriage extension , yes , it can be used ...and as long as you want to stay on that visa , you continue to deposit the 40k monthly .....remember , this only came into play this visa Jan 2019
, the only requirement on the bt400k, after you get your first extension, is that it must be in your bank account at least three months before applying for future extensions. I am now on my fourth extension with my wife, and it is the same requirement financially as a dependent visa extension. There does not have to be a minimum amount, as is now required for a retirement visa extension.
I have money going into my Thai bank weekly from overseas, which I make withdrawals/shopping/ restraunts etc living costs
You are saying I can’t make withdrawals to qualify.
I will go for 60 days extension for 1900 baht
I have well over 40,000 going in monthly which we gladly spend
Thanks again for advice but 157 days is good for me

You could get a "visit thai family" extension (if you're married to a thai or have half-thai children) for 1900baht at the immigration office in your area

Arrived 17th August, did 15 days asq .
65 days remaining on my 90 days non o single entry visa
Are you on amnesty? If so I’d check with your local immigration office ASAP, a friend of mine was denied the 60 days family extension on Samui despite not having applied before.
