TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, holders of the DTV visa are required to file TM30 and 90-day reports in Thailand. Even though the DTV visa is relatively new, it does not exempt individuals from these reporting obligations, which must be completed by either the holder or their landlord.

Okay this question comes up quite a lot seeing as the DTV is just over 6 weeks old

Just so everyone knows (whether you have found it written down or not)

Holding a DTV does NOT exempt you from you or your landlord filing a TM30 nor does it exempt you from having to file 90 day reports.

When you get here you or your land lord file a TM30, and If you're in the country 90 continuous days you file a 90 day report.

This topic is NOT open for discussion, those are the rules and DTV holders are obligated to follow it like everyone else.
