A few DTV questions.

Is there the usual 90 day reporting? I thought I read somewhere that people a bit older might have trouble getting one? I am 62 but do remote work. Is the application fee non-refundable like most other visas, or they give you more latitude to re-submit documents? THX

TLDR : Answer Summary
The DTV visa requires 90-day reporting, similar to other visa types. Age should not be a barrier if you can prove that you're engaged in remote work. Upon application, if any documents are missing, you will receive an email requesting the necessary information to proceed. However, it is noted that the application fee is non-refundable.

I'm 56 and just switched from a retirement Non-O to a DTV. If you can meet the requirements, your age shouldn't matter.

Good stuff! There's going to be a lot more switching from retirement visas to DTV
Randy ******
Jim Howard why is that? Is it the 800,00 0 bahts requirement?

No, I'm Canadian and don't need to move money to Thailand for visas as we can get affidavits of income from our embassy/consulate. It's just cheaper and more convenient with fewer visits to immigration and free multi entry.

No age limit. I am 53. You get an email for more documents to upload. They asked me 3 x for more, different, documents. Proof of having a real business cliënt, signed letter i am allowed to work remote. Good luck

If you can prove your remote work your age shouldn't be an issue. 90 day reports are required

As with most Visa applications, if a document is missing or incomplete you will get an email requesting what is needed to progress.

Siam legal reports that 90 day reporting is needed.
