What are the 90-day reporting requirements for a DTV visa holder in Thailand?

If one is staying more than 90 days on DTV visa then the reporting to immigration office is strictly on the 90th day or the day after? What happens in case those are holidays in Thailand? Can someone who knows the rules kindly clarify ? Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
For individuals on a DTV visa in Thailand, the 90-day reporting is required on the 90th day of their stay or the following day. However, reports can be made 14 days before or up to 7 days after the due date when done in person. If the reporting day falls on a holiday, individuals can report the next business day. Though online reporting is convenient, it may lead to rejections, so mailing the report is suggested for a guaranteed acceptance.

You report only when you stay 90 days consecutively without any break. I hope you understand now.

I think it is 2 weeks before and one week after in person. If doing it online and you go past the date it cannot be done online - must be in person. If holidays can go day after holiday ends but the offices get very busy on those days - try to avoid.

Yeah you have to do it. Do it by mail. 15 days before it's due send the form with photocopies of passport and also TM30 to your immigration by mail. Easiest way to do it

I do my 90 day report for almost 2 years without any problem. They even send you a reminder per mail a week before the report is due.

I haven't done a 90-day report since covid so I don't know. I'm just aware that many online are rejected, so I always advise to do by mail as it's 100% guaranteed

Online it is 100% secure as you receive an immediate confirmation of receipt. But continue to do it complicated, I don't mind.

Too many reports of rejection. I'd never be bothered. Just slip it in the mail - too easy. But heyho each to their own. I'm moving onto DTV next year - even easier. No more bullsh*t TM30 or 90-day. No more visits to immigration. Zero tax liability. The best visa ever!

By the way, TM30 is not requested anymore for more than a year already if you don't change your residence address.

90-day report is bs. I'm in and out of the country like a yo-yo. I'm not a little obedient sheep! With DTV no need to visit immigration. No 90-day or TM30 required

Once again: Even with DTV you have to do the 90 day report when you stay longer than 90 days.

If you never visit immigration there's really no point. You have much to learn about Thai bureaucracy. It's only the pedantic IOs who worry about this cr*p. Border control couldn't give a sh*t!

And you are exactly the kind of @sshOles that Thais hate in their country. You have no respect for their customs and rules at all. I bet you are the one who spends most of the time in red light districts.

You are aware that thousands of expats on non-O visas use visa agents to get their extensions? No, maybe not. Do your research into this practice before commenting! πŸ˜†πŸ‘
