no land or I'd be living with her instead other way round,she has kids but ones 20 and ones 18 so hardly bairns. But the fact we're only going for 12 days for a wedding, we have return flights and our apartment and life is here with all our belongings, it seems silly to me as I've travelled around the world for years and never encountered this amount of scrutiny. any suggestions on what to put on the visa then? Retired or self employed maybe. Surely there's got to be a million Thai women staying with foreigners that don't work, and they're the ones most likely to travel to their partners home country for a visit. It makes no sense to make it more difficult for them as opposed to people without partners.🤔

return flights for both of us are booked they have been for months. As for supporting her we'll only be in the UK 12 days before we return so it shouldn't be an issue.

spent a week there on holiday that was plenty. Couldn't imagine retiring there
