I once received mine almost as soon as I sent it but more often there have been those just stuck on "pending" so I have had to go to the office. Then there were the others that took any length of time between those extremes. Good luck.
Is that the branch in Sukhumvit Soi 3? They called themselves the Overseas Business Branch or something similar. Years ago they opened an account for me when I presented a reference letter from my UK bank.
