you should be able to get the 1 time 60 day extension now, even while on visa amnesty. after that, you should be able to apply for the 1 year thai marriage visa in country, without leaving. at least... that's what i'm hoping. because i'm in the same situation

Good luck. If they accepted the application and took your money, you should be all good. Usually if they're going to refuse you at that one, they tell you when you submit your paperwork.

I'm going there next week. Out of curiosity, how long was the line there today? Still 200+ people a day?

Why not just get a single entry non-o thai spouse visa? Then you don’t have to leave every 90 days. But you CAN leave anytime you want to. You just have to get a re-entry permit first.
