There’s no requirement for the 500,000 THB to be seasoned for any specific length of time in Hanoi, and they don’t have a minimum salary requirement either.

Anonymous participant I was approved in Hanoi in early May. Two weeks before applying, I topped up my account with 150,000 THB to bring the balance to 500,000 THB.

From what I’ve seen, certain nationalities do seem to face more scrutiny in Hanoi. A lot of the rejections appear to be from applicants with Burmese, Chinese Etc.

Anonymous participant 321 certain nationalities come under a lot more scrutiny in Hanoi. Hence far more rejections there with Burmese, Chinese etc. I’ve noticed it’s a common pattern there.

Sadly, I think it has little to do with the 500k not being seasoned for 3 months, but more because of your nationality.
