The complete discussion was if the airlines would let you board not if immigration would let you in.

every thing and anything depends on the IO that you see on arrival. They decide they want anything and you dont have it they can refuse you entry. Likelyhood due to your ticket is doubtful they would stop you.

To be safe you can always buy a cheap on forward ticket for about $12

Yes. But why not apply for TR60 before travel avoid the risks of airlines saying no and save the time going to immigration

nope did not cost anything to transfer it to them. Sorry but I gave my aussie experience. Your post didnt say a country or a currency.

I would look into a registered exchange company and get quotes. They killed wise when I used them and it was much more than required than the 800,000baht

might pay to grab a 60 day visa from Sydney giving you more time to arrange things just incase as it can be extended to 90 days if needed

I didn't get one in December when I flew out. They were trying the epassport system and I just scanned on a machine. But got a stamp in January and will know in 10 days if I get one for Feb
