nope I never get stuck in traffic and if I did I can Sit and relax in air conditioning taxi rather than sweat and drag luggage up and down platforms and then down a Soi. Door to door for me. Trains stop at midnight so also not suitable for me and many others
Agree with you on that. Last thing I want to do after arrival is catch trains then walk to my condo. Plus the clowns did not do an interchange onto the yellow line you have to walk about 10 minutes to get to yellow line. Taxi easier :)
great if alone and no luggage other wise it's 2 trains and even then maybe a long walk or taxi to the hotel. Personally never do it again. Rather a taxi door to door. Also trains don't run all night
If Australia passport and in NSW You can apply online at Sydney Thai consulate for a TR60 visa cost is $60 then extend that at the immigration office closest to where you stay make sure the accommodation register you at immigration for the TM30 you will need for the extension. Extension is 1900baht in cash
