Are you actually on a visa you paid for or just a 60 day stamp you got on arrival?

Extension is easy to do.

Depending on your passport you maybe able to do a run to a border and get stamped in again for 60 days plus then do an extension for another 30 days

yes be interesting. Siam legal would be suggesting going to them if could do in Thailand not turning business away was my thoughts. Don't know a lawyer yet who turns away money :)

My advice is do not use the scammers saying they can do it and you don't need to go to dot they will do everything, tests paperwork etc. government has warned about this scam.
