 as long as you don't tell immigration your living at different address they will not know. They don't go door knocking to check. But ask your landlord to open another immigration account for the house you live in

 yes public holidays certainly would. Sydney closed for Songkran plus their system went offline for a few days would not have helped you.

 certainly is for everyone that may not have followed the rules and even for those like myself who entered so often on visa exempt eventually IO asks why come so often, hence I got the long term visa. Coming every month was ringing warning bells.

Immigration officer on the day may see you as a risk after 23 days overstay and refuse you entry. No one can be 100% what the officer on the day will decide.
