Slovakia from EU is also not on the list, despite being in top5 EU countries in containing virus and being part of Schengen. And some other exceptions too. So yeah that list seems quite random :)

There is no way you can get into Thailand now, at least not until April 18th (all incoming flights were cancelled until this date - so no matter what kind of visa or docs you have, its impossible). And its possible that this date will be further extended, so its better if you just stay where you are...

Thank you, my visa expires 7th April and I have no place to stay in Germany nor interest to go there (situation there is much worse and I'm not a citizen). Thanks for your effort

Again great info, but you haven't really mentioned most common extensions - 2nd (covid) extensions (for people who already did 1st extension on their visa exempt or tourist visa).

Especially how about the people WITHOUT consulate letter? In your previous post from 26th March you said covid extensions are given to people with or without letter - is it still valid info? You replied to my comment it has changed - but now you don't mention it in your post at all, so I am.a bit confused. Thanks for clarifying and great work :)

maybe it would be good to update the post with new info, that now immigrations are starting to turn down people who come too early? There were several reports today in this group, that officers sent people back home and told them to come few days before their extension expire, not a week or two before.

So people wont go there for nothing?

Thanks so much for this info. Its very valuable for all of us. However, I am not quite sure I understand this sentence:

"The applicant, if on their SECOND TOURIST EXTENSION, and UNABLE TO GET THE CONSULATE LETTER, must FIRST apply for the 7-day emergency extension (1900 THB) ........ and then, with the ORIGINAL COPY of their consulate letter, can apply for 30-day extension at the tent"

How can applicants unable to get consulate letter use original copy of their consulate letter?

Kedy si ziadala o ten list a ake argumenty si pouzila? Ja som volal SK ambasadu pred 3 dnami, a rezolutne taku moznost odmietli, vraj este lety do europy su. Som celkom prekvapeny ze CZ tie listy vydava, zvlast ked este lety do Prahy su (na rozdiel od Slovenska kde su letiska zavrete). Dik moc ;)

As somebody above mentioned, you have time (more than 2 weeks, actually even more bcos u can get 7 days extension).

Making any visa run at this point is almost impossible, forget about it. There is nowhere to go - only wait, or fly back home.

I am in same situation, my visa expires also 7th, and I decided to wait. They might start waiving overstays, and if not, you can always fly back home later...

For now the best option is to avoid all international travel as much as possible, for as long as possible.
