Phang Nga immigration want it there for 3 months and proof of international transfer. You should check with your local immigration office for their requirements

Justin Hollebon phang Nga immigration accept it , I get my passbook updated monthly and gsb write the letter. But every province immigration office makes their own rules.

Put it in the government savings bank bond account and you get entered in the monthly draw. Last year I won 800 baht on 9 of the 12 months. That’s better interest than you get anywhere from a bank account and immigration like gsb as it’s the government bank.
