My io was clear. It can be an interesting bearing account but must be instantly accessible- I chose government savings bank because they give interest and a monthly lottery plus they write the letter to immigration that meets requirements,

you need a permit to volunteer in Thailand. The fact you think it’s ridiculous is immaterial. It’s the law.

Legally yes. And I advise you not to do it without the permit required.

you’re condescending and supremely arrogant. There is no excitement about adherence to legislation, regardless if you stay in Thailand for 180 days in a given year then you must register, even if you won’t have a liability.
