you’re comparing apples and oranges. As for price discrimination, there’s a difference between selling products at different price points in different markets, and racial discrimination. I can tell you don’t have an economics degree, or much of an education for that matter. firstly, there aren’t 299 counties. Secondly, it’s an insult to those who aren’t Thai and live and work in the country, do business in the country, create jobs and pay taxes. So, yeah…it’s discrimination, one example among many. Now, if you’re cool with that, fine. Pay the extra money, but don’t act like it’s not discriminatory, and certainly don’t complain about tourist visa policies elsewhere.

Steve Smythe tourism visas are not based on race, they’re based on citizenship, and the US takes in more Thais as citizens than Thailand takes in collectively. So, tell me how we are racist. Your Thai girlfriend can open a business in the US. She can buy land in the US. Can you do that in Thailand? No. You’re punching above your weight, mate.
