Theoretically I agree. But as I said as a born Thai citizen born in Thailand you will not face consequences if you gained dual citizenship and entered on the "wrong" passport. Suppose she loses her citizenship while in Thailand? I am certain she will not have to do border run to be considered Thai again.
She couldn't even check out with her "wrong" passport. It's void.
Of course she can get s new thai passport in Thailand. Regardless on what passport she entered.
Theoretically the restrictions apply to her. I am just saying I am sure she will not face any consequences if she enters on her UK passport and get a new Thai passport inside the country. Once she got her new Thai passport she will not have to leave as they cannot punish her thai identity for what her UK identity did wrong in the immigration process.
I didn't say it wouldn't be much simpler entering on the expired thai passport.
I just said I am sure there are no major consequences if she enters on her UK passport and renews her thai passport in Thailand and the restrictiond will not apply to her since she can prove she is Thai already
She can enter with her UK passport and get a new Thai passport in Thailand. No problem. Even if the 30 days are up. You cannot overstay in Thailand as a thai citizen. Regardless if your thai passport is expired or not
