My friend has overstayed in the US. She is planning on leaving the US. She is deciding if she should go back to her home country or come with my to Thailand via DTV. I just didnt and dont know if it would be better for her to apply after she has left the US. She has her passport from her country and has been working legally in the US since 1988 and pays taxes etc. But just dont want her to get tripped up
Doesnt the money have to come into the Thailand system for it to be taxed? If i am making money from the USA, money going into my US account, and i transfer it to my wise card and use my wise card in Thailand... i dont think i am bringing funds into the country and shouldnt be taxable. In fact how would they even know?
i thought you could not open a bank account with a DTV visa, only a non-o or LTR.. Can you or someone please advice correctly if in fact I will be able to open a bank account on my DTV visa, and what the requirements are?
