lol the truth is no one knows what the extension criteria will actually be since we still have 2-3 months before the first ones are applied for. My guess is it will be super lenient as with the current tourist visa extensions, but who knows?

if it matters it’s not publicly published from what I have seen. I will be going in and out every 2-3 months for work and will post if I have any issues.

from the way I understand it DTV is probably the best long term visa now for the money. Elite is better of course, but at a much steeper price point. The LTR visas are good for 10 years with ME, but the application process is more complex and selective.

DTV really seems the best deal right now if you can snag one.

afaik it’s unlimited. No fees other than the $400 application fee I paid to the consulate in LA.

Happened to me enough times that I moved to the Philippines. When I turn 50 I will be back though. Even the Thai consulate was telling me to wait six months before applying for another tourist visa.
