Hello all,
I am turning 50 soon and looking at the non immigrant O visa. I have a military retirement pension that exceeds the 65k baht a month requirement, but afaict this option is no longer available to Americans due to a policy change at the US embassy in Bangkok about 5 years ago. Is that correct or am I missing something?
TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquires about qualifying for a Non-Immigrant O visa in Thailand using a military retirement pension, referencing potential restrictions for Americans due to past policy changes at the US embassy. Comments clarify that while the initial visa application cannot use monthly income as proof, it can be used for extensions next year if enough funds are transferred to Thailand.
